Is anyone aware of the current situation at Cognizant. When / Are they going to stop? Or they want everyone to work with a sword hanging on the necks.

I was terminated by Cognizant at A--. Dir. level after working for 11 years in US. Best option going forward is to work full time jobs with regular companies instead of working for Indian IT companies as there is no career, no promotion and no job security with such companies. Also these companies will always try to s--- your blood till the last drop and throw you in trash once their need is fulfilled. STAY AWAY FROM COGNIZANT!!
Join a company that does work in the cloud computing area, they are hiring big time. Data science is harder and difficult to switch to quickly.
The job losses are being necessitated by the change in the business models. From a bench heavy to just in time hiring. Lower revenue growth rates does that to industries. Manufacturing did that 3 decades ago with kaizen and JIT. IT services is in that phase now.
Not just Cognizant. lots of companies. You really should look around beyond your own four walls and employer. This isn\t about Cognizant, there's something going down. Started in 2017 and is getting worse.
