Tuxedo shops to close

This is certainly unsurprising.

How long before LensCrafters pulls out, too?

My store the same. Young kids working there. Expensive. With sales and coupon you can buy a tux at Macy's for a bit more. From professional sales person.

Oh and I work at lenscrafters Macy's. Hope it doesn't close. I don't think so. Not this soon anyway. The amount of Sears optical stores is going down each month.

No surprises here. The people they hired in my store were horrible. sitting on fixtures, texting, playing video games, leaving the store unattended, reading etc... Funny when they opened they didn't want to words "men's Wearhouse" used as they wanted to make it separate due to the poor reputation they have in the rental business. I wouldn't rent from them if they were the lat ones around. they brought the same reputation to macys.

If we sold bridal dresses, actually pushed marcisa engagement rings that we own and not watered down our bridal registry department (they basically are floor coverage at this point ) this may have worked. It is completely inconvenient to rent tuxedos at Macy's when you're doing all of your Bridal business elsewhere.

I dunno about LensCrafters. They own the eye places operating in Sears and they haven't pulled out of Sears yet.
