The surmonster will be a tough sell, as I'm certain COP will want a premium for it as they try and recoup the negligent gross over expenditure of Phase 2. Nothing like going over budget three-fold and still calling it a project engineering success... Good job CD, not.
Good question. I think it'll more be a mad race between Total and COP to sell their respective 50% first. That's might keep prices down a bit, as there are a limited number of buyers out there, possibly including Imperial, CNOOC, and Suncor. They are all aware desperate both COP and Total are to get out of Surmont.
