Very excited to hear that news on Surmont sale with Blueberry should be announced in the next week or so.... The company purchasing will be Canadian and be much better for the assets and hopefully take the employees with them. Bye Bye COP!

There have been multiple canada deals of this size as the independents put themselves into a better position. It is the right time to sell Surmont and BB. Good luck at the new company.
And even if it is true that only changes the reality for about 300 people anyway.
The rest of us were already slated for a layoff.

I also have heard the same information, cant confirm if its accurate but the rumour is the same.
I have heard CNOOC as well as Suncor... Suncor seems more likely as they don't like to be second fiddle to CNRL and they want 1MBOE
