Thread regarding Wal-Mart Stores Inc. layoffs

Continued RIFs.....

Approximately 10 people were let go in the Compensation area. Other people were moved from their respective roles to fill those some of those vacancies.

This is far from over. A few at a time each week and they hope no one notices.

Layoff for ISD will start on Monday. I have heard around 400 people. 10percent. Not sure if it will happen all at once. They are getting rid of good people. pray

@San T. As far as I know it is the same. 60 days to reapply for another job at WM. (I would suspect at a lower compensation.) If you are not rehired, then you get 2 weeks of pay for every year and then 1 week for every $10k of salary you had.

Someone with 10 years at $60k salary would get 20 weeks + an additional 6 for a total of 26 weeks severance.

We're in a stealth recession. All corporations hiding layoffs. Been going on for almost two years.

Media and government are part of the cover up.
