Has nothing to do if your store is a money maker or not. The store I worked at was always one of the top five profit making stores in the company. They told us we would be one of the last stores to close, everyone was surprised when they closed it two years ago. They told us that it was a landowner problem, couldn't agree on lease. Hey but the store in the same city that operates in the black is still open! Maybe this is one of the reasons Kmart is going out of business, because they closed two of their three top money making stores.

Probably in top 50 for making money. The top stores will close too.
Maybe that you'll stay open longer than some of the others?
Maybe that if KMart is sold to another company, and they should be, there is a market for it product mix and it's dangerous to leave Wal-Mart in charge, then your store might be an attractive purchase?
Only time will tell.
