This company is embarrassing. I went to a job interview last Wednesday, non oil industry, and the guy just laughed when I said I work for BHI. He said to me, wow you still have a job there? It was so degrading. He knew How much d!ck I have to s--- to keep my job.
There are still good and bad parts of Baker . Since One Baker and the AMO c}%p Baker has been going down the tubes .Hope some bright yank can still salvage this once great company ??.
BAKER HUGHES are now the bottom of the pile, no work, losing contracts, run by muppets and trainees.
Tools fail on a weekly basis as paid off all the good workshop guys.
Managers so bad at there jobs they can't even see it's them that is ca using the good gus to lose there jobs.
Will be Suprised if the offices even make it through this downturn in Aberdeen.
That's whats wrong with the industry now. Too many boys willing to take your job by any means , work for nothing and think there clever for it.
You pay for experience any one can work offshore but not everyone is good at it and millions are lost each year by people who have no idea what there doing.

You put clowns in these positions then that's what you get... disaster. Come on baker ffs.
Useless managers that's why. Absolutely rock bottom bad decision makers who didn't know what they were doing in Aberdeen.
They went downhill in Aberdeen due to poor managers who were obviously incompetent. How could baker not see that. Drilling dept used to be good but now are a joke.
Baker are still paying boys off weekly , 3 more went last week.
Still Keeping the wrong managers and staff,
I stated with Baker over 15 years ago and it's now run by managers who have no experience and no idea.
How can we go from being so good to so bad.
All our competitors are taking on new staff and are busy.
They are losing the few contracts they have , joke of the north Sea is all I hear offshore these days when baker are mentioned.
Aberdeen is dying in every way and there no coming back.
Let's be honest it was a bad company 5 years ago and since then gone so down hill it's now absolutely terrible.
Most of the guys still working and that's about 20% of what was don't have a clue and are just kept on by either being a managers mate .
If I could leave tommorow I would as it's a embarrassing company to work for these days.
