I agree with the above quantum of layoff (7.5 to 10%) of the workforce. If you remember the TCS episode few years ago, when the company declared a mass layoff publicly but ended up dropping the idea after a very strong reaction from the public, politics and the media. To avoid similar backlash, CTS may be projecting a smaller number of 6000 staff cuts but the real number may be about 18K to 20K. Moreover, the staff cut might be a routine affair, going by the current business trend and gloom ahead.
Cts is going lay off 7.5-10% people.Its approximately 20k people.One of the biggest layoff in the history..I am a CTS employee.
