@3jeh, Are you in India? Looks like there's lots of jobs in Pune. I never even heard of Pune until recently but now it seems like that's where the jobs are?

Pure #gold post

India is where you call for assistance with company issues and in turn they read from a script, ask you a hundred unintelligible questions and then offer you no answers or solutions at all. After one hour on the phone, most of that time on hold, they tell you they are escalating the issue to a higher level and you receive an invaluable ticket number. You can write the ticket number on a post-it note and decorate you desk or computer monitor with it. I've been told that when you collect enough of these post-it notes, like one thousand, you can redeem them for SYWR points to supplement your new and improved associate discount!

Some of the responsibilities our team had are now being down by folks in India. More of the same soon I'm very sure of. Cheap labor, they can deal with the lack of quality work.

@obx, very funny post about SHC India.

Sad but true. You can fix crashed registers, phone systems, ect faster by using google to solve the issue than having to call SHC India.

instead of firing the IT employees in India who are idiots they fired the compatent ones in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Everyone is right SHC is so screwed up.

One funny thing though everyone, I only interviewed at a Sears right across the street from my current job to pick up some additional hours on my days off from my other job. Turns out they wanted someone with "extreme" flexibility. So they hired someone with no experience,

What is comical is that they were about to hire me since I was already trained on SHC policies,Proceduers.

How to "Sell the Sears Card/MasterCard & Shop Your Way, & Product Protection Plan" The three Sears money makers. And I already know how to use the crappy Sears/Kmart signing software. And do POG's.

Instead they hired someone for the same MCA position I was qualified for because they an open schedule not because they were qualified.

Here is a question to Sears FLS managers. Would you hire a qualified employee and work with that employees schedule or Would you hire a non qualified employee just because they have an open schedule and can work anytime?
