I am working on Salesforce technology and I have a bond of 2 years with CTS... I did not get much opportunity to show my work...

Since this is a completely technology and for that CTS gave us training....

Now my manager gave me 4th bucket... I dont know how to handle the situation.... Can anybody tell me and suggest me what should i do?

Guys, when a company gives bottom rating to employees who received multiple appreciations from the client then it is certain that the company doesn't deserve good people. Instead of blindly forcing managers to brand 10% of there people as non-performers they could have taken some other route which could have been more logical. When people with 15 years of association with the organization are thrown out on pretext of JUST one false rating then how do you think that other team members would remain focused. Be ready for a mass churn over once the industry gains some momentum.

Whether you are billable or not, better to look out for new opportunities. Your employer do not know how to run their business and manage their customers. There is no point in hanging on to them anymore.

If you are billable, you should be fine. If you are on the bench, you are in grave trouble my friend. Start looking for a new job right now.

I am in the same situation and what I suggested to look for options. If you are currently non billable then you should not delay.

Your best bet is to move on and find something else. Tough luck, you've learned a lesson, move on and do better next time at the next place.

You need to be extra careful nowadays, all companies are using ratings and rankings to weed out people and to lighten the bench. Look at this thread for Capgemini, it has references to Accenture, they are both using the same technique (more rigorous ratings) in order to cut costs and lay people off. If you are a Fresher and If it is only 6 months since you have joined Cognizant, you will not have had appraisal so soon. And you wouldn't have got 4th bucket. For that you need to complete one year in Cognizant.
