Why hasn't the Department of Justice blessed this deal yet? What's taking so long? Do you think it will eventually be approved?

The DOJ and the FTC share jurisdiction regarding anti completion/antitrust. I think Cablelas had to refine with both back in October. Should have been decided by now. It's either the bank holding things up or a hearing with either the DOJ or FTC. 40% chance it get approved but that bank is bye bye. Hopefully cableas with use the money from the bank sale to buy back their stock and you Sidney folks will get a second chance to save your town.
