ha ha. there will be layoff in September. anybody can predict while working in Qualcomm in current situation. there are lot's of back doors meetings at senior level. If there is no layoff then management has to announce it. otherwise Qualcomm will be continuously losing talented people. no announcement yet means there is upcoming layoff.
All is well at Qualcomm. Web 3.0 will launch Qualcomm stock into the stratosphere.

I would say, YES panic as most of the good people are leaving, this is the time to leave before there are no jobs out there, don't listen the previous Idiot from HR.

Qualcomm really needs to fire most of the directors, Sr directors and VPs. Really s---s to see these useless spinless s----ups in managerial or leadership roles. Almost all of these long time folks in San Diego needs to be fired.
Look at the QuIC team to begin with, really bad and horrible leadership.... All nepotism from the top level percolating into the directors to team leads. They practice and preach bad leadership strategy and are absolutely useless and filled with all good old boys club from one and same background/country. No secret which one.
Modem team here, 50% of the Team impacted by this summer. PTE cuts are in progress moving all PTE to India and SG.
40% laid off, huh? So that would get rid of maybe half of the directors and VPs??
