NO PROJECTS!

I'm a current employee of CTS - joined six months ago, at a Senior Level.

Now, I got a 4th bucket rating and I am being asked to leave in a month or so (e.g., resign and get lost) and the reason is "NO PROJECTS" that's the bottom line, I pity CTS for its un-ethical move.

This is going to happen in IT services. Other companies are also planning to layoff. Just wait and watch. And be prepared to face the pink slip. IT managers will be the 1st target as they do not have any technical skills. So, managers will face the worst situation as they will not get any job once terminated. And dirty polities will also not help these good-for-nothing managers to survive. Technical guys will get some option to find other jobs. Guys, prepare for the BAD days. And Managers, try to find some trivial jobs like selling mobile coupons outside BIG BAZAR etc.

Have they informed you to resign or you are assuming they will do so?

The pipeline is dry indeed, things will get ugly soon...

This is so peculiar to me, why is this happening right now as the economy is blasting through new records.

Is that the "Indian" factor and new administration? I don't see folks at Accenture complain, but if you look at Infy, Wipro and TATA they are all complaining about 'dry project pipelines'...

It may be an early warning, but if you are in the US, you may consider switching to Accenture, Deloitte or whoever carries that 'made in US' banner...
