Noble is not recruiting employees to move to Houston. Instead of doing additional layoffs they said they would be moving departments from Denver to Houston. They must be in some sort of financial trouble and stock prices continue to decline, in 2013 the year started off strong, shares were hovering right around $200 by May 2013 they had dropped to $50. Today, shares are topping out at $23. The last time their shares were below $23 was in February 2000, 17 years ago. This is a receipt for a failing company, a company looking for away out.
Got a link to that interview? Or just spreading rumors...
The records centers in both Denver and Greeley are being outsourced? Those employees are being let go..... We now will absorb the file creation process. Why is this happening? What's next, you really have to wonder.
Oh boo-hoo, the Denver people won't go to the Greeley office? Maybe be that's the plan! Bah-Hahahaha
Willingham will go....
Noble is a stupid company. The huge megopolous in Greeley is a testament to their lack of vision and understanding of oil and gas cycles and downturns. But they wouldn't be so stupid as to try and move everyone to Greeley. No one will go.
More like 75% empty. Buh bye Noble!
Greeley has over half of a new building that's empty! Of course moving the Denver office there makes sense. If you don't want to commute then say good bye Denver!
Moving the office to Greeley is all part of our plan to reduce headcount! it's like having a layoff, without actually having to lay anyone off. See how smart we are?
That's a horrible idea! Does Noble think we all want to commute 1.5 hours each way to get to Greeley? Are you kidding me?! I can assure you most everyone in Denver will find new jobs. Most of us are looking for new jobs anyway.
I heard the plan is to move the Denver people to the Greeley office. Greeley is closer to wells.
That's great if Noble wants to return to the "mothership". There are hundreds of successful companies in operating in Colorado. We would welcome their exit from Colorado. Sell your properties and go!
Damn Colorado regs have done a good job of driving oil companies away. Won't be the first company in the last two years that closed up shop in Denver and moved everyone to the mothership.
Unless commodity prices increase a lot expect a culling from finance and maybe IT later this year that probly won't be called a layoff.
Isn't "post nazi" a name?
Just sayin'
The post nazi strikes again!
Names not allowed here, check the site rules. Just sayin'
Let's hope they close Denver and sell all of their leasehold to another company. Get their sorry act out of Colorado for good!
Can we get some complete sentences around here? What exactly are you trying to say?
I'll try anything once though.
Man, laying most everyone in Denver will get you a disease for sure.
Why is Denver recruiting employees? To move them to Houston? It would be the equivalent of laying most everyone in Denver. Nobody in Denver wants to move to Houston. Not with Noble. Most everyone here is trying to leave this sorry company.
