Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Uber can get you to Bartlesville from the airport

Uber from the Tulsa airport, and can't get back to the airport for his flight at 6:00PM. No taxi would go to the airport because they didn't want to leave town. The city is addressing some transportation issues. Houston is a city where the young people want to go, not Bartlesville. There is more to do in a bigger city.

It seems like ConocoPhillips will have plenty of room for employees in the new EC4. Downsizing is never pleasant. The size of the budget is smaller, the employee count is down, and SJBU hasn't even been sold yet. The cost of contractors is lower in Bartlesville than Texas. The big picture is lower for longer. The world can't afford high price oil. Will there be additional layoffs?

More Bartlesville experts chiming away. According to these delusional fools Houston is a utopia. It's a stroll through Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory every day when you live down south.

Uber now avoids Bartlesville because of the grief they get from local nasties.

I'm surprised Bartlesville is still listed on their gps!

Don't be so sure it's just the younger folks that would prefer to be in Houston. I hear banjo music and it's getting dark. Frightening.
