No one is coming to the stores that we already have. We can't afford to hire staff, replen, or clean. We're becoming k-mart.

Who would loan money to us to build new stores? There's no way were paying cash as RC once said. The retail expansion part of the 2020 vision has to be bad eye sight. My bet is that Albuquerque will never open.
4.5 and 5.5 $billion has been tossed around as numbers but if you include CLUB Visa or don't include it may be the difference.
Either way I'm betting the deal is going to unravel or it will shrink significanly if it does manage to reach fruition.
More layoffs coming is the word on the street in SidRock... stand by for details
Not becoming Kmart, you are Kmart. Cabelas is now a laughing stock in the industry.
Sad, so sad. Cabela's is run into the ground right before our eyes. We as loyal customers are watching in utter horror what is going on, and no way to voice our opinion to the clearly unfit management. The employees are witnessing their positions evaporate by the hour. How can any management be so determined to destroy a company? The agreed price was 5.5 Billion, now I read that it is 4.5 Billion. Management can not blame this on their customer facing employees. Management should be ashamed of itself!!!!!
Stores were already in the works. The cost to get out of the stores is more than to build and operate for a few years. I would surmise that a lot of the construction/real estate team was let go as there isn't much if anything past the current planned new stores for them to do.
The web site shows 4 more US stores are to open soon. If you are in Sidney, is this true? I can't imagine that they would continue to expand while the ship is sinking.
All is well.
