Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Big Political Play happening with managers..

In a last ditch effort, my former manager and his boss (director) have taken "transformation" positions. Meanwhile my team now has a real, hands-on, well-respected manager. My former manager was a real slime-bucket..took credit for all the good things his team did and loved to threaten his team. Seemed like he might have had a terrible and suppressed childhood..

The company is a very good spot. All the dead weight gone!

What amazes me is the number of emails you can send to management that go unanswered. Worthless turds, empty suits, douche canoes collecting a pay check. NetApp would be great if 90% of the turds would simply go away. Some are being forced out. Others are just laying low, collecting a pay check. Seems to be the NetApp mentality with senior management.

No scarcity for Politicians in NetApp. They are everywhere. Many are victimized....

Weirdos...

There are a number of those "slime-bucket" managers in upper-management positions. Self-important people on ego trips with such high opinions of themselves. Little men in little companies who don't have a realistic perspective on life. Too bad it takes a wake-up call for them to get the picture...
