There's been no significant turnover in Ponca because people had too many years in and there was no other comparable place to go. They just kept hoping management would be so impressed with him that they would promoted him away. No such luck.

Because he does what the executives want. He delivers and in most cases he overdeliver. Simple as that.
If the people working under him, after all the complains and all the alleged abuse, are still there, maybe they like it because there hasn't been any significant change in turnover over the years.
They keep him because he doesn't care about screwing lower ranked employees to get a larger bonus.

They are forcing this website to erase posts about him because he already broke enough federal labor laws to grant a class action against SLB. The attorneys are scared sh--less that now, with low overall unemployment, people organize and sue they might win a very lucrative lawsuit which will impact SLB image for quite a bit, especially if the oil crisis is going to end. They don't want to be on the news as the company which abuses the living crap out of employees.
