I told I all I would do it. I forced the manager to finally come in today because I am tired of being MOD for 26K a year. I never said I quit but just that I had things to do regarding my children which is true.
Why should I go back now? SHLD does not even deserve two weeks. I gave them two months but not in writing.
what I meant is you can't get short term working for Kmart but you can get a leave of absence.
But you can be covered under many things.
You might be covered under the ADA.
Call HR and ask for a leave of absence. You will be covered. Except if you work for Kmart. Sorry.
But how can you fail really? I'm still at Sears but I know it will feel so much better not to be working for a failing company. Those non wellwishers are just feeling insecure & anxious about staying. We all know there is no future.
The crazy thing about the few jaded sears/kmart employees that once you leave, some won't wish you good luck and think you will fail after you leave
Yeah, use your vacation before you leave. It is taxed as a bonus if you take it as a payout after you quit.
I guess you'll find out. Have they called you? If you have sick leave & vacation put in for it.
