If layoffs could improve company performance, Sabre would have been on a roll by now.
He was supposed to exit in 2016 anyway so it is just a delayed action. He'll leave with more than most individuals at Sabre will ever see in their lifetime. Too bad that money wasn't earmarked for investing in some of Sabre's many non-competitive solutions.
