Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Uninspiring. It felt very forced and artificial.

They clearly know moral is on the floor and sales are going the wrong way, but I think the leadership are out of their depth. It's time to bring some people in from outside and shake it up a bit. Promoting the same people/mates who only have a proven track record from the glory days of Cisco, aren't the people capable of turning things around. SC isn't a naturally charismatic leader, nor does he promote trust in you, but he is a ruthless f@cker and if anyone can cut out the masses of useless leaders in Cisco UK&I I think he's the prefect man.

Anyone Cisco employee reading this needs to put down their fancy MacBook, take a walk and think, "Is this worth it?"

If you're in sales, the answer is probably no. Go make more money selling better technology almost anywhere. It's not the company it used to be. They can give you some beer in Brighton, but you'll wake up tomorrow with a sore arse, the same terrible products and useless execs.

And the other idiots were teaching us how to sell to unnamed accounts using social media and drab marketing- a team you would want to stay WELL clear off!!!! Otherwise a top event.
