One of the most effective and brilliant brownnosers I ever encountered in over 30 years in the business. Truly a very smart player who found a way always to stay!
Wish him much luck!
so where is he headed next ?
His leaving was due a long time ago, grew stale years ago. Time for some new blood, and by that I don't mean promoting yet another set of useless mid-level managers.
The guy was a self-promoting, sleazy a--. Good riddance to bad garbage.
Jeff was in charge of Tail-f /NSO as well as the Ericsson "partnership". He was going to leave in December 2016 , so this is a quarter late. You have to say with Nick Adamo leaving it was only going to be a matter of time. By the way he has been at Cisco longer than John Chambers with a 3 digit employee number. I guess he does not need a new job:-)
I worked for him indirectly as my VP and have nothing but good words for him.
Surprised he got another job. Why leave Cisco though? I thought there's never been a better time!? He'd only need to sell a million spark boards, a thousand Nexus 9K's and the biggest AppDynamics deal ever done and he'd be at least 10% of goal! What's not to like?
There's never been a better time! Hahaha
Whoa Dude ! Let's party !
This guy ?

One of the heads of sales, when you've got nothing to sell, you go to a company that you can easily sell their product. This isn't the first time this has happened. Won't be the last.
