I've heard rumors of a 'performance rif' coming on April 14 2017. Anyone on a PIP or received a DN or BE on their annual eval in ISD or Sam's Club

Noticed other positions, that were once full-time, are now being posted on various job boards as temporary positions for extremely low pay compared to what they were when Walmart had them as full-time salaried roles. These are not low level positions that just anyone could fill, these are roles such as compliance positions requiring regulatory knowledge, a JD and MBA. Is this going to be the future? Roles where there are highly-skilled, highly-educated temps that receive no benefits, and horrible pay? NO THANKS! It is a bad sign when you see a company downgrading required FT roles into temp positions. How about part-time and temporary Officer positions, give that a try.

I'm not surprised to hear it was in Bentonville technology area. Bangladore won an award for ops this year for telecom. No one was there accept because 100 % of the team is in India. Some random amuck accepted the award. I recommend all youth to avoid going into programmer/technology careers because of this. Walmart is outsourcing like all the other companies to India

Technology. Jobs being removed due to (walmart) associates in bangladore India increasing responsibilities. It's not outsourcing/offshoring because they are associates

It's a constant drip. America's retail footprint is easily 50% too big. This will have its moment soon, where the drip turns into a waterfall.
