So there are no department managers anymore... and are making us all apply to different positions. Does that mean that if we dont get the job they will lay us off? I dont think the new hours are so bad... but are they gonna have the sames shifts every week? Or are we gonna be flipped all over the place? I dont know how people with young kids are gonna be able to deal with it.

I know at our store. That 1st shift and 2nd shift instock(the ones that do the audits, and the unloading of the truck) had to reapply.
Has anyone heard anything regarding instock 1or2 teams, or stockers being let go?

Does anybody know if there are multiple team leader positions? Or is it just 1 per position? Ah. I loved my job as dm hopefully i will get one of the new ones.
MUjv05P-zyg. rude and hateful. have you stopped to think the stores are where the cash registers are, not HO. you get paid for whatever you do or did, in part due to the stores ringing up sales. the stores have not been hurt nearly as much as HO, regional etc. must be a reason for that.

Store level. As far as I know the schedules will mirror more of ASM schedule. Close shifts will be close of store. A lot more weekends and a lot more flipping. Remember it is all based on the needs of the business. Not the needs of the associate. Good luck and hope the program works well for you.
Yes Canada, but what level? There's department managers at store level, warehouse and home office. Different jobs, same title.
post said Canada! and pretty much yes if you do not find another job by your lay off date you're gone. make sure if you don't get accepted for anything else to let them know before your exit date or, as i've been told, you do not get your severance pkg.
