Any details on how many and which departments in ISD were laid off?

I was told that the 2nd shift cap team is to work all consumable areas. Third shift will be down sized to another 10 people and will finish the none consumable areas.

I'm been hearing that Walmart is trying to get rid of 3rd shift stockers. Does anyone have any info concerning this?

If anyone wants a feel of what goes on in ISD (the IT Division at the HO) visit http://dilbert.com/ and read as many Dilbert cartoons as possible.

It's almost as if Scott Adams works there and writes the strips with firsthand accounts.

Wish I could hit "like" to some these posts. Lol... the Bobs were in the movie Office Space. They were there to eliminate head count, decide who is worth keeping and who gets the ax. (A great movie to watch right now, a classic view of how Walmart operates and does not care about their associates)

An office space reference. Business men in suits that are generally around to ensure no one is loitering around when layoffs are occurring in nearby rooms.

What are bobs? People walking around with suits and walkie talkies?

News to me. How many? Seems like business as usual. No Bobs walking around.
