Thread regarding ION Geophysical Corp. layoffs

Executive Earnings

Executive compensation details are out. Looks like the people at the top are not being affected that badly by the downturn! 3rd year in a row the CFO's total compensation has increased while the profits decrease!

No one is gonna employ a lazy popcorn eating freeloader from ion. Don't matter you approve of CEO and execs or not. You have taken the ride and produced nothing.

And that is the next problem that ION will face. Even if by some miracle this company survives, the moment the market turns around and there are opportunities elsewhere, most of the remaining employees will leave.

Glassdoor approval rating of 3% for Hansen x approx 500 employees = 15 people that approve of him as the CEO. Given that the executives make up 5 of those people it means that there are 10 employees somewhere in ION that approve of him as a CEO. This does not bode well for ION's ability to retain employees or hire new ones during an upswing.

Every company will rebound faster than this dead duck. Just be ready to jump. I am!

Makes you sick but none of us have any options else where and ion knows it!! They are getting what they can from us before opportunity starts to come back and we all jump ship.

We're never gonna see our 10% back, or any kind of respectble cost of living raise. This comany blew 100 million on a defunct company in the hopes of greener grass, all the while touting how 'asset light' we were.

Even then in 2014 ol Brian said the industry was in for a downturn, still dropped money on it. We're still pumping cash into while it s---s us dry......just like cancer, need to cut our losses and remove it and focus on what we do best. Just look at what we did on Campeche, if we did put our eggs in the proper basket instead....arggg so frustrating

Market Cap less than $50MM.

Remember when we thought we were closing in on $1B ?

Good job Brian!

No. Executives that fail their companies are usually fired by the board. But as Hansen controls the board this won't happy. Under no circumstances would a CEO of a company that is loosing money year after year get a bonus. The only concern of the executives at this point is padding their bank accounts while they can prior to bankruptcy.

Does anyone know why the company lawyer makes over $700,000?

And he still claims he is under paid at town hall meetings!

Statistics show that similar sized companies pay their executives more.

Is that true for executives that have failed year on year?

Stock price going less than 4 soon?

Good luck to all of us that remain!
