@1tkt, my $0.02, posts don't get deleted because of the subject (why would they be, the H1B subject is more than relevant to layoffs). But they do get deleted if posters use derogatory language, have racist comments or use personal insults, which is often the case when this subject is mentioned.

He was not able to repeal obamacare. He could not touch H1b. It was just his political stunt

Trump has been using h2b visas to bring east European workers for his golf courses. So I doubt he will do anything about work visas h1b, h2b or NAFTA. Most of my coworkers are from Mexico on NAFTA. All they need is a cheap bs degree in computer science from their country
