What's worse, working in AZ public schools or working at UOPX? I'm trying to decide whether to leave teaching or not and going to UOPX is an option.

Don't losten to these folks. Its not all doom and gloom. There are some perks. Look at your current benefits (eork hours, salary, oension, etc.), and simply compare the jobs. Been here over 8 years and never had a salary reduction. None of us are rich, but we probably make more money than the average teacher. The benefits arent bad, and we get a decent amount of vacay and paid holidays. Theres definitely som unrest here though. Layoffs are always a possibility, and some divisions are worse than others. For me, the positibes outweigh rhe negatives....barely. Hope this helps.
You don't have to come to UOP, but do all of our children a favor and run far away from teaching. Teaching takes a special passion and it's so clear you are teaching for the wrong reasons.
Uop is about to reduce salary for all. Lost 4 major big whigs including president in last 45 days. You dont want to work at University of Phoenix. In addition, dozens more lawsuits coming up.
Do not go to UOPX. Lots of layoffs and chaos.
