These programs were all huge wastes of money. Spend 2 years teaching these people to be world class drilling engineers to have them go into random other functions, quit, or lay them off a couple of years later. What a waste of time, money, and resources. The most ironic component is that the people in charge of the programs (like Mike N either have left on their own or still enjoy cushy easy jobs).

Don't forget the DSD who as a supervisor was sharing rooms in Vegas with their subordinates and after an ethics investigation gets "promoted" to a Cush bag rat role
Yep. Or people at mid career who have plenty of experience and are not likely to leave the company soon. All the investment put in them over 10-20 years, and then dump them for someone with a year experience who will have no loyalty once the tables are turned if the price ever get s back up.
