I'm pursuing a position as a non-faculty member at UoP's main corporate office. Is it a good place to work? What can you tell me about working there (as a non-faculty member.. I would not be teaching. Just an office job.) Thanks

It used to be a great place to work. I left after 8 years due to constant downsizing and general mistreatment by upper management. Don't take the job.... You'll thank me later.
Run Forrest Run
I left a while ago and took a pay cut due to the stress this job brought on. The HR guy was a total joke
Good and bad. A lot of folks here have a teadon ti be upset, but its not a horribke place to work. It really comes down to the position itself and what division your in. If youre working a desk job checking students in at the campus...its fine. If you an enrollment academic or finance counselor....its not the most stable of positions right now.
Glassdoor has posts from UOP HR employees hoping to attract employees. i know this from someone in HR.
Glassdoor seems to have more neutral and positive comments than here. Is this the sounding board for disgruntled employees?
Depends on the position. Non student-facing is infinitely more tolerable.
Dont take the job. Run far far away from this $hithole.
your trying to work for a business whos main source of revenue is s---ering people into buying fake degrees that no reputable employer takes seriously and borrowing money they dont have to pay for fake degrees. Word has gotten out to even its target market about how fake the degrees are and less people are buying fake degrees. Its not a sustainable business.
Not a healthy place to work.
Was the titanic a good cruise liner?
Take the job if you plan to write an expose about a corrupt organization that ignores every law and has no problem lying to its employees or hiring management who are unqualified, unprofessional, and immoral.
No, it's not. Unprofessional staff and leadership, frequent layoffs due to poor planning, vision, and leadership. Most people who work there who are non-faculty got their degree there and have no clue about their field.
Is this a joke? Have you read this page? Run away.
