Safety culture going to S$!t

I fear that COP is no longer a safe place to work! People are allowed to grow beards now, and everyone knows you can't work safe and have a beard! How can they put on the scbas to perform emergency rescue that procedure prohibits them from performing and aren't qualified to do with the scbas that they have never been provided and aren't allowed to keep in their trucks? Someone please help me, I'm really struggling with this and I feel like all of our lives are in danger. I can't even......

For the people actually trying to convince people a beard is ok in certain situations-THIS WAS A SARCASTIC COMMENT. How can you not see that. Good grief.

Beards are just a way of separation from all the skinny jean flat bill wearing douch bags they are starting to hire.

Let's get the facts straight. Beards are allowed for office staff. Beards are allowed if you do not work in a hazardous gas environment. Hey Scott airpack can be utilized safely with a beard in the positive pressure switch setting or mode. It just won't last as long. Although the mask of a airpack may not make a perfect seal on a person with a beard, if the airpack is set in positive pressure mode it is safe for rescue and short duration uses. Apparently you have not received your training yet.

There was never a safety culture, it is all an allusion put on by the glorious koolaid drinking safety department. Safety only protects the company, the same as HR they don't care about you they never have.

ZZ Top and Santa Claus were fired from COP for non-compliance. Now beards are permissible? Looks like wrongful termination suit may be coming.

No, they still have it. You know there's a concern for safety when you get called for a "random" drug test 3 times in 2 months. Such a good use of all that extra money we have too.

Safety only matters if it doesn't cost money. Always been that way.
