It's up to consumers to stop shopping there leaving their stores loaded with stuff.

Won't a loss of shoppers increase the layoffs?
If you guys don't like the visas, start a PAC so that people can donate to politicians who oppose the visas. Then start keeping track of how your politicians vote and publicize it on social media etc when they vote against American jobs.
Then, actually educate yourselves on who is voting for/against bills to support American jobs and remember it in the voting booth.
It's one thing to come on an anonymous forum and cry about being helpless. If you do that, you deserve what you get.
It's another thing to actually do something about it and not be a s---er.
It's more than 65000 work permits / yeare
65000 H1B's + H-4 dependent visas work permits + Foreign student work permits = 235000 work visas / year
Believe it's an eye wash . The 65000 quota has not changed . I believe this entire thing about strict enforcement of H1B is a joke . It is a propaganda to keep the people who voted for this president happy . Let's wait for H1B numbers to come out after they are allotted to these companies .. I suspect it will be business as usual .. Indian IT lobby is flush with cash and too strong in Washington . We don't stand a chance
Don't know about Womack but Jeff Sessions, the Attorney General has been an outspoken critic of H-IB visas. Sessions has proposed legislation called the Protect and Grow American Jobs Act. The legislation primarily targets large outsourcing companies, such as Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services, that receive the vast majority of H-1B visas and use them to deploy workers to American companies seeking to cut costs.
I am more interested in knowing if Mr Womack has done anything on the legislative front to limit H1B visas.
