Pittsburgh: Questions for townhall with CEO Friday

We should put together questions that need to be asked on Friday.

  1. Short term daily operation is as is. Long term what are the plans for east coast operation. Namely will the main online base still be in Pittsburgh

  2. Will we have to reinterview for our jobs at a different pay rate? In the long term

  3. What is the new company's plan for bringing in their people to align our schools with their vision

Add more for us to ask on Friday. Don't be silent on this front. These are our livelihoods and we cannot afford to be silent.

I can't make the town hall -- could someone take notes and relay the answers? and/or take audio of it?

M8lWqGB-fqh..there is absolutely nothing to dig at...your livelihood should be looking elsewhere..I'm not trying to be cranky, but this has been an ongoing sh-- storm for several years with folks coming to this forum looking for simple answers to a complex situation. There is NO SAFETY NET. Plain and simple...go to you meeting...ask questions which will have a lawyered up response and you will have no more info than you have today. I have said here often and again will post...update your resume or CV and move on...find another school or something out of this industry...

Salaries will be reduced, management will be reduced...look at any of the campuses. Their enrollment teams are down to crumbs and they are the worst of the worst. They spend countless hours on the 800 hotline b--ching about management and less time doing what they are paid to do. Look at the campuses that have given up more and more floor space...are there any career counselors any longer? No need for that department with diploma programs only...not having to toe the line with GE negates those departments...

My two cents...and in the past my two cents has been worth far more than the stock.

Those new marching orders are what we have to dig at. No deal of this size goes down without being clearly on short term, 1 year, and sometimes 2 years plans in place.

There will be new marching orders within 30 days. Flattening of management levels...look at any not for profit school and do the math...Look at you top performing programs that have a diploma and do the math..others will be sidelines...the school is migrating to diploma only education..no worry with some of the needed Regional Accreditations and the like...

Wake up shell schock. EDMC will no longer be calling the shots.

What does it matter? Get a grip.
