Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

eSAN

A legitimate effort at improved efficiency and cost reduction via streamlined information transfer or a means of team leads to recuse themselves from face-to-face provision of artificially low ratings?

eSAN only enables disassociation. What good is a supervisor or a manager to a peon employee if they cannot be relied upon to have their back in face to face debates with their management peers? Are our managers afraid to speak up for us when we most need them during salary action season? Spineless slugs.

What is this? Lowering the actual pay of 2-s? Which units are impacted?

eSAN is only another example of how little importance Chevron places on the rank and file employee. Most of us bust our hump doing our best to produce for the company. Then when it comes time for recognition and reward through obtaining better pay, they prefer to evaluate everyone "remotely" through the eSAN process. Ridiculous. Perfect example of management's attitude. Instead of huddling together to debate and make the case for their employees, they would rather not be bothered. Hey Management, "Perception is Reality". Get down and busy for your employees if you want your employees to get down and busy for you.
