Let me get this straight. Your board is desperately trying to sell you to BP. A company that has somebody doing your job down in Missouri. Now, the equity in your homes is gone because it's a one company town. Then, they decide not to give you a bonus? With all the nonsense this board and your VPs have created, you were set up to fail. You people desperately need this money to help you move on. You're trapped in your homes! Just the your board and your VP's want it ... until they get paid out. These guys are borderline criminals for doing this to you all. I really hope a documentary film company picks this up and exposes these guys. Does anyone know anyone in Hollywood?

Y'all drank the Kool aid in a company town. Tommy was hired to prep Cabela's for sale or buyout. That's what the layoffs were about. Drives up the stock price when it sells, makes it look cheap to operate for the buyer. Think Mitt Romney and what he does to make money. You are numbers in a stock deal and nothing else. But hey, you just keep on believing that the Cabela's family gives a sh-- about you or that town.
I never received any bonus! Oh, that's right, us peon Outfitters are too far down on the food chain for that.
Nor do they care, It is inconsequential to them the lives they destroyed the dreams they laid to waste and the small business that are/were the life blood our community . All that matters is the fact they received their bonuses and payouts.
While the rest receive pink slips and foreclosure notices. They watch as everything they work for evaporates before them, whilst the 'elite' reap the reward of their ineptitude. and of the peoples hard work and not their own.
Glad tommy, ralph, scott, etc gave themselves nice bonuses last November. Maybe they can save the struggling small businesses and families in town. Nice going guys! You'll never understand the hell you have made!
If anyone can make a low budget, independent documentary film about this it's possible. Then submit it to Sundance by August 2017 and it will show at the Sundance film festival by Feb 2018.
It would be assigned the category of a fiction as few would believe that Tommy and a group of fools that he put in place would be able to bully, destroy and completely ruin a brand and a town as they have. Unfortunately it is real.

Really Hollywierd has no interest in a hell hole like Sh--ney or Cabelas! Do you really expect the Hollywierd liberal elite to cry and protest over a company that specializes in hunting and fishing or a podunk hell hole in the middle of nowhere. Smmh
There is no money to be made and minimal exposure for these narcissistic media hounds.
Sidney is dead and not only is Canelas and the Cablas leadership to blame. So is the city for catering and cowing to their every whim and desire. For not listen to and taking care of the average taxpayer citizen who pays the bills for the wonderful insight of the social elite and self imposed leaders telling/demanding all the icing when there is no cake underneath.
The leadership in the approximately fifteen years has left this community a shell of it one was. Those responsible for the destruction has all but left, Leaving others to pay for their great ideas and decisions.

A B movie is not even as bad as the situation in Sh--ney and the sad part of it is, we watched it happen and those who spoke out about were disgraced by the so called social elite and power brokers. Their lives destroyed by lies rumors and gossip and forced to leave the area.

I can assure everyone of one thing, unless the incredibly poor leadership of the company is changed, the ship is going down just like Gander and a host of others. The only life preserver is bp and that is not a life preserver, simply an anchor for the cabelas brand.
what is that I hear, a train? The light at the end of the tunnel is not hope but the foreclosure train coming to town.
