Working at Aetna is like romper room. It's a bunch of kids running around doing busy work. So many people in positions without the basic skill sets required to do their jobs and so many employees who gave up year's ago. OMG! I've never seen anything like it. So many good people here, tying so hard to survive.

3/1/17 it's march and Wednesday and that means layoffs, 17+ that I know of and more to come next Wednesday.
Humana just laid off a ton so I wouldn't be surprised.
this is what happens when you get too greedy and don't care about your employees. all they want is to be on top of everyone else. class action suit is being considered against Aetna. Aetna will be losing even more money. maybe time to get someone who can run the business and care about their employees and not just their pockets. need new ceo who truly cares
It looks like Aetna stock investors lost billions in share price and are bringing a class action law suit against Aetna for lying about the pull out of the ACA markets they served. I think this and the failed Humana deal are going to cost Aetna plenty. It's time to move on and look for a new job. The future of being an Aetna employee is going to be a rough ride. There are to many jobs in companies that are growing. I'm packing up and moving on.
