If this has happened and now they have run-off you from the job, for your own life and for your family just run away from this company. You are a human being and deserve the right to be treated as a human being if they treat you in this way then is against human being rights. Majority of the office people don't have experience into the Rig or they haven't been into the Rig in last +20 years don't expect from them to really understand what is mean + 14 hours shift. Better just run, run away from oil industry and don't look back leave them to do the job with new grads.

You asked for it. Should have been a man and worked 18hrs like the rest of us, instead of being a complete softy. Now you mess it up for others.

I "grew a pair" and asked the Companyman which shift he would like me to work because I was too tired to do my job SAFELY any more.

Guess what, I have been run off the job, and now my manager has called me in office when I get onshore and to bring my company laptop with me. Seems ominous
