It all comes down to what CD VP of Oilsands capital projects. He gets what he wants. We saw that September 15, 2016.

I guess we're all going to be working of oil sands! Will be nice blowing through AFE's with no repercussions!

A team of land consultants were hired and most started Jan 16 to review & clean up the files to prepare for sale. Pretty much everything in WCBU is going out the door.

Good question, ask their VP. If you're really feeling brave, ask what was the overrun for Surmont 2 and report back. Good luck.

How could Capital Projects "take" an operating asset?

Yes. Don't believe anyone that tells you otherwise. The only remanence of the WCBU will be the Montney play, which the d---beat Capital Projects group made sure they took for themselves. This is probably the worst keep secret in the Canadian office.
