There is nothing simple about building a 3 cone bit. The people in Houston are finding that out. I have no doubt that they can do it, but it's going to take time and money, and a lot of both. In the meantime, market share is being lost, some of which will never be regained. K-mart boy obviously has never tried to build anything, otherwise he would appreciate the effort.
