"Transformation" means hiring new college graduates and getting rid of Old Employees ? ?
"Maybe Trump will help stop this ludicrousy"
Ludicrousy? Trump suits and clothing are made where?
No wonder Trump loves the uneducated.
Not shrinking, Just being replaced by "New College Graduates". Have you taken a look at the open positions lately? The goal, after all, was to become a younger company. By younger, GC did not mean NetApp was old and set in their ways. What he meant was for older employees to get cut and make way for newer, cheaper labor. And no, you won't be able to compare the ages of those sheets that HR sends to you. This ain't NetApp's first time at the rodeo. They aren't dumb enough to get themselves into a situation that opens them up for a Civil Lawsuit. It ain't gonna happen. They will even the field out and lay off older and younger by age and tenure so it will all look evened out in the end. Heck, the March 2016 layoff was supposed to happen in January but a flag was raised that there were too many aged employees on the list and that delayed the layoff til March. And likewise, NetApp will be trading locations of jobs too. It's much cheaper to employ someone in India than the US by a lot. But, NetApp Execs will tell you - NetApp is a "Global" company so expect a global workforce.
The real trick will be to see what happens over the next few quarters to next couple of years if we decided to hang around that long. That will tell us what kind of longevity we have.
Who said Netapp is shrinking?

Yea I heard about this too. It deals with support too.
Maybe Trump will help stop this ludicrousy. There is no hope from a market driven global economy where US can't compete.
