Just had interview.

First half hour goes over the -new positions: rotations/job descriptions.

-what positions you have held in the store.

-what positions you are applying for and why you believe you are qualified

-potential difficulties of the jobs that you are applying for

Then come the four questions (it's kind of tough to remember the exact questions and order):

-Name a time when there was a complex situation in which you used a simple solution to fix it. How did your solution provide a global affect for solving many issues or potential issues.

-Name a time when you had a specific task where you were required to motivate or inspire your team to complete the goal.

-Name a situation where there were many tasks to be completed, how did you delegate the responsibility so that the tasks would be completed.

-Name a situation where there were many things going on and all of them needed attention, how did you handle the situation.

Now, these are not ver batum, and they could be slightly different as everyone interprets things differently, but yes, they focus on organization, time management, delegation of duties, and inspiring/motivating.

Use detail and think of how you can incorporate how it affected your customers, your employees, and the business. This restructure claims to be about the customer experience and the benefit of it's employees. It's nice to incorporate some statistics (margin, sales, bottom line) or terms like (customer experience, employee empowerment, communication)

Good luck my fellow DM's

-Getting organized

-Getting work done through others

-Decision making

-Inspiring others

The fact that nobody wants to help you tells you a story about the company and type of workers who are still there

I've heard that they are situational questions, like always. Only one of the DMs has told me anything. She said they were (1) what is her experience (2) a time you completed a big task (3) when you did a small thing that had a large impact and (4) something about teambuilding.

You are stupid if you go back. You must not want a career and just a job. You are only a number to them.
