The Committee on Efficiencies was formed in November 2016 to search and find avenues of economizing. The committee’s mandate is to find systems and processes that can be streamlined. My Question is, was this committee formed to research and implement changes when the new owners, Apollo Global management, are in control? My opinion is yes. Anyone within Apollo Education, current owners, states we do not have any plans for layoffs or restructuring at this time is lying. It is that simple.

Too little, Way too late for this type of action right in the middle of a C#@) fest. Less students, less people. Higher ups have to take as much money from the worker bees as possible to support/justify their own survival. In downsizing history some companies make the employees left after layoffs and 'unfair' terminations REAPPLY for their jobs at much lower salaries. So it's musical chairs game. Will you have a job when the music stops? Possibly....but it may not be the same job at the same salary and will be with a company treading water to survive with inept management. Will it be a company with any integrity or an image that will exude any kind of integrity? They will slap as much change/pressure as possible on all the workers to see who can do their job daily and who can figure out what their job is daily. Weed out people. They need some much, much better NEW management. Don't see this 'company' surviving. Somebody should just pull the plug.

Layoffs in 3 weeks be forewarned... all the changes being talked about are designed for less people...
That probably accounts for the increase in class size from 22 to 30. Fewer classes means lower payroll.
I think I am looking for new employment. I do not want to be economize. Business sense and market demand are blamed for everything at UoPX.
