I worked in retail about since I was 18, I made it to the top ASM, DM,PRO, and I have taken every dept I worked in into success, that's about 6 dept's , I hate to brag...
Lowe's closes about 30 store's per year on average, it really s---s because there is a few good (wo)men that are good workers show up to work, sweat and bust their tail like me (no I'm not in management). Also we have the DM'S THAT DON'T DO NOTHING, unless their ASM is there, than you and every other associate let your ASM know that the DM is worthless hangs out at the desk all day checking connections, or just BS with all day, we have DM'S that have sticks up their A's and don't teach the new worker sht...
I hate to see people loose their jobs but some of these workers are dead weight. Starting with SM never talks to anyone like we owe him something, the admin girl again like she is the best, queen and we owe her something, it's just a position don't let it get to you.
@ LOWES' we have lot's of employee's in management that don't care, they don't practice what they preach, the lowest paid workers like me do a better job at running a department, providing customer service, world class service, teaching training and coaching my associates instead of writing them up.
Let's live our value's that's why Lowe's keeps cutting jobs because some of you don't provide the skills required by the company, and it all starts with corporate.
