We lost an ASM today, a wonderful ASM. She was always bright, happy, and did her best to spread as much positive energy as she could. She got down and dirty with the best of them, had no problem throwing freight, handing customers, or doing whatever it took to show that she supported her staff, and could do everything that she expected from them. She always had our backs, and was there if you needed someone to talk to. She has worked almost every position within a Lowe's store before becoming an ASM. Yes, we ticked each other off at times, and we had our back and forths, but I have never had a better leader than her, and honestly, she went out the way I would expect her to. Our store was only going to lose one ASM, and instead of allowing the guy they picked for the lay off, she stepped up to the plate, and resigned. The other three had families to support, and needed the income, but her husband makes enough to support them well until she finds something else and her kids are grown. She said she could take the loss, but it was not fair for the others to have to. I am going to deeply miss her. I hope this new structure is worth it, because we lost a hell of a person today.
Ok lost 1 asm we are down to 4 Asm's, all Dm's are all subject to become csa level 5's.. They have to opt in or opt out to become zone managers. They will all be subject to new interviews for the 8 Zone managers positions that will be available in the store... If you don't get chosen per interview process you will become a csa 5 you will keep the pay rate that is it for a year after the year you will leave the company or wil have move to a different position inside the store if you found one in that year range!
