Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Bonus???

Got terminated early Nov 2016, I'm sure this is a dumb question, but am I still entitled or qualified to receive a bonus or even a partial payment of one?

????

I was November 2015, and it wasn't mentioned in my contract, but I still got one in March. You should expect one.

look at your severance documents. It should be spelled out there. If laid off, you should.

Depends on reason for termination. Laid-off? Yes.

Fired? No.

Quit voluntarily? No.

I was laid off November of 2015 and received a full bonus in March. It is stated in your exit papers as such and the bonus will pay out to the last bank account you have on file.

In my contract (I assume yours is similar) it says that I need to be working at Baker Hughes at the time bonuses are paid to receive it. So even if you work through until the new year you're only eligible if you're still employed by Baker the day they pay the bonuses out.
