Yes the greed company has shafted the aberdeen offshore work force for many years bosses have still received there bosses this before down turn many boys passed off as never had pay increase for 5 years totally sh--e all we get is do I learns travel to houston do training still no pay 20 pounds per day for food no day rate as normal we are taken for a ride having to take my own tea bags coffee into aberdeen office that's how bad it is taken for a pleasure ride but the industry shall build when offshore aberdeen crew move on for the sake of working for a greedy company

No sympathy for offshore workers at all, you've had it good for so long and most of you squandered it on Coke, Cars, Houses and Holidays rather than stuff itvaway in case of a downturn. As for 3 on and 1 off, I work 6 days a week every week, so get over it.
To the most clever person that put comments in about aberdeen work force and lifestyles people here have took a large hit with the downturn in the industry that's why any people have returned there car even bmw or audi this is not a necessity the roof over your head is so people do the right thing that's nothing to be ashamed about
But rest assured north sea along with west coast of Scotland have plenty oil in place and it shall be recovered as long as the large companies keep there prices in line with the industry

Last comment's are incorrect as aberdeen offshore is keeping several other PSL going you could be getting mixed up with office personnel I can assure you if this was not the case then why is it boys are doing 3 on then 1 off or it might be that you can tell it differently
if HAL Aberdeen want a pay rise then they need to start working harder to deserve it instead of sitting around on their backsides doing nothing.
The truth is that after we cream off what we need for our bonuses and pay rises there's none left for the boys in Aberdeen. That's the way it goes sometimes so get over it as you are way down the pecking order.
Aberdeen and the North Sea are dekcuf . Everyone is sick of hearing about how much you don't get paid anymore. Take back your Audi/BMW and sell the house you can't afford.

Look we all know what a crap company we work for, and yes i like others enjoy the viseral release on these pages, but the only thing that will put more money in youre and my pocket is moving on.I like the rest of the people here havent had a pay rise in 4years while watching the managment pets get extra money through the addition of a senior or specialist tag to the job title. so I intend to flick the finger and move on when things settle down and vow never to work for this lot ever again.

This company could give rises well before the failed baker Hughes disaster I for 1 have had no increase on salary or offshore day rate to me that's uncalled for even when people work offshore Christmas along with new year with not a penny extra that's very selfish.

This company does not believe in giving people pay rise unless you're a manager normal working uk offshore men get nothing I to have been waiting a long time for pay rise near 4 years seems the normal but should not be rate of inflation does not count towards wage rise as I speak 2.7 per cent in uk.
