Does anyone know what's the typical layoff package? Are there any conditions? How long you wait for it to be payed?

Severance for ASM is 2 weeks for every year with the company.
I work for the company and so does my wife. She "was" an ASM and the severance package is 2 weeks pay for every year you've been with the company. So a drop in the bucket for the big wigs who HAVE to keep their millions.
Our home was broken today. It's going to be hard for me to go in this place now knowing all the devastation this is causing for so many families. My heart is broken.
From what I heard it's a measly 4 week no matter how much time.. It's stupid someone with 20 years should get more then one with 5.
