The Burlington Coat Factory in New Orleans was extremely poorly managed and operated! The y went through an entire Christmas season with no security! They would not listen when told that their methods , such as leaving every pair of shoes on the sales floor was encouraging theft and mismatching of pairs! The management there would not implement the necessary changes I wished to make as shoe department manager and then threatened my job when things turned out badly!
Managers at that location were extremely incompetent! The company, in general has poor operating procedures! They would not allow me to fire employees in my department who had enough write-ups to wallpaper a room! They had to have four for the same infraction!
I quit after seven months! Burlington was the most disgusting company of those have worked at during over 30years in retail!
