We lost 2 ASMs tonight, and the DMs have a meeting tomorrow with the manager - bye bye to some of those DMs, and with good reason - they are overpaid and do very little work.
One ASM was crying all day, and the other was on the phone walking around lumber b--ching to someone. Ouch!!

Just to be clear at least in my region no FT are being replaced with PT or seasonal help. I just hired a FT associate yesterday. And all the seasonal posts and job fairs are for spring hiring. We hire a lot of seasonal help this time of year. And as we change to a transaction count for payroll numbers hiring I'm sure will be different.

Whatever bonehead, it's happening today at several stores around here. They're holding a job fair where they are hiring more seasonal PT help & some seasonal FT help for most departments - at wages lower than us now. Check the jobs pages in north Florida genius, and try to inform yourself before you sound stupid again.
And MOST DSMs are overpaid and do little more than any person in their department does on a daily basis. That's a fact, so deal with it and stop trying to justify your position.
