Here is a brief tidbit for all of you who are still fishing for info: All current ASM positions will be re-structured. New roles are Support, Sales, and Service. Each store will lose one. How that decision will be made is not known at this time. My guess is FIFO barring performance issues.

If all stores will lose 1 ASM, what about the stores that have five or six?

We lost 2 ASMs tonight (Florida store)..one left crying, the other was on the phone constantly. I just wish they would get rid of the DM's because they are useless & overpaid.
Most jobs being advertised are PT seasonal, the Plumbing DM left 2 months ago and they haven't filled it, and they won't now. Many seasonal workers will not be hired as permanent PT, but will be replaced with a new batch of seasonal workers at a lower pay rate - it's happening now.
Lowe's is just a corporate monster that only cares about profits, at all "costs." I never bought into their "We help" communities and all that crap, and no one should. They scream how good they are for America to cover for the fact that they're just corporate pigs.
